How to Elevate Dua Lipa’s Wardrobe 

The only thing better than Dua Lipa’s bad dancing meme is her style.

Dua Lipa’s wardrobe is loud, daring, and eccentric. After all, her lifestyle consists of performing at the Grammys, frequenting the Met Gala, appearing on Jimmy Kimmel, jetting off to tropical locations for vacations, performing at Tiny Desk, and going on dates with her stud of a fiancé, Callum Turner.

Here’s a list of designers whose marketing matches Dua Lipa’s personality and values– hopefully she wears more of them! 

DUA LIPA x JACQUEMUS 

Jacquemus, founded by French fashion designer Simon to honor his late mother, is known to be minimalist yet eccentric, which fits well with Dua Lipa’s vibe.

She and Simon have been friends for years, so she wears a lot of his looks– she even attended his 2022 wedding in one of his white dresses (she wasn’t breaking the wedding dress code because this wedding had two grooms).

The Dua Lipa x Jacquemus pairing just makes sense, so hopefully they’ll keep collaborating. Dua Lipa got engaged to English actor Callum Turner in 2024, so maybe a Jacquemus wedding dress? Also, a Dua Lipa x Jacquemus collection would slay! 

DUA LIPA x VERSACE

Gianni Versace founded the Italian luxury fashion company in 1978, but ever since his death in 1997, his siblings Donatella and Santo have run it. Versace markets itself as maximalist and glamorous. Over the years, Dua Lipa has worn lots of Versace: a starfish dress to the 2020 AMAs, a purple campy look at the 2019 Met Gala, and a monochromatic pink look to the 2021 Grammys.

Donatella Versace and Dua Lipa joined together to design the 2023 La Vacanza women's collection, and the pop star even strutted down the runway in a pink set alongside the likes of Gigi Hadid and Irina Shayk. Now that the fashion designer and pop star are friends, Donatella should whip up a custom look for the afterparty of her wedding, which would be another Versace piece in Dua Lipa’s wardrobe.

DUA LIPA x SCHIPARELLI

Elsa Schiaparelli, an Italian designer, founded House of Schiaparelli in 1927, which celebrates surrealism and eccentricity.

The tale of Icarus inspired the latest collection of the Creative Director, Daniel Rosebury. Although the pop star has worn Schiaparelli before, there needs to be more added to Dua Lipa’s wardrobe. For her next red carpet event, she should wear the Corset Coat Dress from the Icarus collection.

DUA LIPA x NENSI DOJAKA

Nensi Dojaka was born in Albania, but is now based in London. In 2019, she founded her eponymous lingerie-inspired fashion label, perfect for a night out.

Dua Lipa’s parents were born in Albania, but due to political turmoil, they had to move to England, where Dua Lipa and her siblings were born– in fact, Dua means “Love” in Albanian– and then her parents were able to return once Kosovo gained its independence. In 2018, Dua Lipa and her father founded the annual Sunny Hill Festival in Kosovo to raise money for music and arts in Kosovo.

Clearly, Albania is close to Dua Lipa’s heart. Also, Dojaka’s clothes are perfect for a party girl, and no one radiates that energy more than Dua Lipa! She’s worn Dojaka once, and hopefully she wears more– on her next tour, she should wear the Rhone Cargo Trouser paired with the Camille Body Suit to show off her hard-earned abs.

DUA LIPA x VALDRIN SAHITI 

On a similar note, Kosovo-born Valdrin Sahiti founded his eponymous line of evening wear and bridal in 2003, which has become the largest fashion house in the Balkans. At the 2020 AMAS, Dua Lipa wore one of his dresses. At her next red carpet appearance, she should wear this Bronze Sequin Strapless Dress with Feather Detail.

Maybe he will custom-make her a wedding dress for her upcoming nuptials?

DUA LIPA x REEMAMI

Since Dua Lipa’s parents were displaced due to conflict, she resonates with Palestinians and has spoken up for them. Reema Al Banna is a Palestinian fashion designer who founded Reemami, which markets itself as whimsical and sustainable.

Her latest collection, “Tin of Olive Oil,” represents her Palestinian roots. She hasn’t worn anything from this designer before, but she would look killer in the Maqlouba Halter Top paired with the Walking Prism Pants. What a great addition to Dua Lipa’s wardrobe!

DUA LIPA x HOUSE OF SUNNY

Sunny Williams founded House of Sunny in London in 2011, which is filled with bold prints and graphics and prides itself on sustainability with their animal welfare, recycled materials, and E-Flow denim. Dua Lipa was born in London and has been known to rock sustainable fashion, so Dua Lipa x House of Sunny makes sense.

She wore a House of Sunny top once, but there needs to be more in Dua Lipa’s wardrobe– she should rock the Retro Check Mesh Skirt and Top on her next island vacation. 

DUA LIPA x DANIELLE GUIZIO

With her eponymous fashion line founded in 2014 in NYC, Danielle Guizio is on a hunt to capture the essence of subversive sensuality and the boldness of women.

Dua Lipa is the definition of sensuality and boldness! Dua Lipa wore a pair of her pants to a previous soundcheck, but she should wear the Giselle Sequin Dress and Monroe Faux Fur Coat on her next date with Callum.

DUA LIPA x SAMI MIRO VINTAGE

Sami Miro Vintage is a black-female-owned and Los Angeles-based line of elevated staples that is eco-conscious through the entire supply chain. In Dua Lipa’s Service95 Newsletter, she shares “9 Summer Buys from Black-Founded Brands We’re Loving Right Now,” so it’s clear she likes to advocate for black designers.

Dua Lipa has worn one of her hoodies a long time ago, but I’d love for her to wear the Double V Open Seam Sweatpants paired with the V Cut Zip-Up Hoodie, and then Callum can match in his Foldover Sweatpants and Open Seam Mini Tee. Does Callum share Dua Lipa’s wardrobe?
